THE LONG ROAD TO RIDE THE "GOD SHOT"

I have always wanted to ride, and have always wanted a chopper of my own which I finally convinced Frankie to build for me but only if I designed it so we set to work.

I knew what I wanted, I knew the look and style it had to be, it needed to speak to people when they saw it, it had to be bad, sleek and sexy with a 70s vibe and that is what we built. as Frankie busted his butt going to swap meets and finding parts. Frankie used a 12-over Wide Glide which was supposed to be something of a cross between a digger and Frisco build with my late 60s early 70s desired vibe but the over-length tubes just were not going to cut it. I wanted a SugarBear front end, so Frankie made a phone call to Sugarbear and he went back to work finishing everything else as we waited for the new front end, all the rockers were engraved with the 7 Deadly sins on them by Heather New out of Canada, the lowrider paint job was all Andrew Bondo and the sissy bar in the shape of a cross was Joe Magliato. The bike was coming together when I went out one day on a ride with Frankie on my sportie, but during the ride I had an incredible wreck that almost killed me, I suffered a head injury, needed surgery on my hand, injured both knees and face planted,, my helmet saved my life, in the meanwhile while I was recovering my front end was ready and arrived to the studio where the bike was finally completed, it was my dream bike!! However, I will most likely never get to ride her, the accident changed my life, so now I just get to stare at her and thank my amazing husband everyday for building her for me, THE GODSHOT!
